The beach and resort centre are only a short walk along the canal walkway from the apartments.

Well the Gondol is probably one of the best apartments in Icmeler and the staff are lovely do anything for you really nice family.
Ollie is great, that's Selems son who owns it and runs it with himself and his wife. There is Jimmy and Cassey who do everything to keep the place so clean there's not one bit of mess anywhere they are right next to the canal and next door to the Venice bar so really good location as well.
I'll be back there in 5 weeks and cant wait they really do make your holiday these people oh and not forgetting cookie the dog.

Great holiday and great views from the balcony. The Gondol is situated by the canal and is around 200 metres from the sea.
The apartments themselves are much better than the impression you get from the brochure and are cleaned daily, with sheet changes twice a week and towels changed on alternate days. The cooking facilities are basic with a 2 ring hob and a kettle and enough crockery, cutlery and pans for 4 people.
All the staff are extremely welcoming and friendly. Attached to the Gondol is the Venice restaurant and directly across the canal is the Majestic restaurant, both with friendly staff and excellent food.
Icmeler itself is quieter than Marmaris, with all the bars and restaurants turning off the music at midnight, though most will carry on serving until you decide to leave. Go to the market for some extremely cheap goods.
All in all a fantastic holiday.
