Green Forest Hotel, Hisaronu

Read the reviews before we went & were apprehensive to say the least.
This hotel has its good & bad points. Location is excellent. Views spectacular! Pool & surrounding areas are fab! Rooms are very small & basic but ours was very clean with towels & sheets being changed every day. Food was very bland & boring with very poor choices. Not a great choice for kids at all.
Staff were not the friendliest I've met. The entertainment staff I'm sorry to say were a joke. 10 mins of water aerobics & a 3 min dance at the side of the pool in the morning. Volleyball or water polo for 30 mins in the afternoon!! That was it! Dan the youngest member of staff was full of great ideas, however the man who was in charge of the entertainment team would not take any of his suggestions on board & made it clear he had to stick to the normal routine. Maybe the entertainments manager is scared of the competition!!! We made great friends on our holiday & between us we made our own entertainment.
Some nights after the kids mini disco they even turned the music off & this was only 10pm. We had to ask that it be turned back on.
The management told the bar staff to restrict peoples orders to 3 drinks which as you can imagine caused some problems & an absolute joke for an All Inclusive concept. We found out that the hotel was in the process of being bought over so heres hoping the new owners can make this a great hotel it has the potential to be. We would go back to this hotel but only if we start to see the reviews improve!!
