Although we stayed here two years ago, we had a fantastic time.
I have since heard that this complex is now called Hotel Vera TMT.
We could not fault the complex, lush gardens, beautiful large pool that hardly ever got crowded. Smaller pool with waterslides. Sunloungers plentiful, towels allocated by the poolside each day on a card basis. A jetty stretched out into the sea for the serious sun worshipers with huge cushions scattered around it.
A 10 minute stroll would find you in the restaurant area of Bodrum not far from the main resort. Another five minutes and you were in the heart of Bodrum.
Although many nationalities were there, Dutch, Russian, Belgian, Scottish, English, French everyone got on well with each other.
Rooms basic but cleaned everyday, towels changed everyday. Bedding every two days.
The animation team were brilliant, not too pushy if you did not want to join the poolside or daytime activities. They really worked hard for the shows that they put on every night. Toto the leader was fantastic, spoke several languages fluently. His Geordie accent was good. But although a brilliant guy he could not sing Michael Jackson songs, sorry Toto.
From the gardeners, to cleaners, to the staff in the shop on the complex to the waiters who worked very long hours, what can I say but they were polite, curious and nothing was too much trouble for them.
Will certainly go back, my daughter who was eleven at the time said it was the best holiday she has ever had, and that it was better than America.
