We spent two weeks at this hotel in May and had a brilliant holiday, although we had a couple of days of rain. The hotel is shared by its sister hotel the Catalonia Yucatan and all facilities can be shared by guests on both sides.
We paid on arrival for an upgraded room which was fantastic with three balconies, one overlooking the sea and the other two overlooking the pool with side sea views. This was well worth the extra money.
A fairly compact beach resort within walking distance of the marina where you can swim with the dolphins or just watch others.
Restaurants and shops also at the marina, so you don't have to be confined to the hotel. Good choice of food at the various hotel restaurants all through the day. Bar staff are particularly friendly and we received excellent service throughout the hotel.
Overall an excellent holiday and we would definitely return.
