Hotel Marina Torrenova, Palma Nova
The Hotel Marina Torrenova is a great family choice. It is attractive and spacious, and the facilities which have deservedly won it Gold Medal status have been designed especially for families.
The Hotel is situated in an elevated position between Palma Nova and Magaluf, just 200 yards to Palma Nova beach, and only 400 yards to Magaluf beach. It's just 200 yards from the resort centre with a supermarket, cafes, bars and restaurants and 400 yards to a bus to Palma.
Facilities include bar, TV room, car park, swimming pool with sun terrace, restaurant, table tennis tables, pool tables, tennis court, children's swimming pool and playground.

If you've got kids under 10 then this is the hotel for you. If you fit into any other category the forget it. Almost at the top of a steep hill the hotel is all British. Drinks are expensive and the entertainment day and night is geared to the under 10s, which gets a bit much when you are a couple who's children are grown up.
Most days I had to set our own table for meals as the staff aren't interested if you've no children. Food was OK.
There were ample sunbeds although you couldn't get into the pool for inflatables.
We won't be using this hotel again.
