Aegeon Aparthotel, Skala Kalloni

The Aegeon Hotel was a wonderful find. It is situated in a quiet rural location with virtually no traffic noise. The rooms were larger than expected with a fridge and air conditioning. We had a nice terrace with table and chairs where we sat enjoying a beer. The bathroom was very decent and we had hot water most of the time.
The swimming pool was rather small but had free sunbeds and umbrellas and a very well run and friendly pool bar that opened until midnight. The seating in the bar area was settees and comfortable chairs. Pure bliss. The staff were wonderful and nothing was too much trouble. The cold buffet style breakfast was nice with some choice although it did not vary from day to day.
The sand and shingle beach was a 6 minute walk and the nearest taverna was 8 minutes away. The town square was a 14 minute stroll. We can recommend this hotel to couples who want a peaceful holiday in a non touristy resort where lazing around is the is the prime objective.

This Aegeon Aparthotel is a nice size having 47 rooms. It is in a quiet countryside location 4 minutes walk from the sandy beach and a 15 minutes stroll to the main square where you will find most of the tavernas.
The rooms are basically furnished but bigger than average for Greece. there is also a fridge in the room. You can hire the air conditioning and safe deposit box. The pool is pleasant with free sun beds and there is a nice poolside bar.
We found the staff helpful and friendly. We were on bed and breakfast basis. Breakfast was limited but alright Skala Kallini is a great place for couples to visit if you want a quiet and relaxing holiday. The sardines caught locally are wonderful.
