This hotel is so bad the rooms were clean and basic; OK, the grounds were kept well. The staff were not very nice, seem to not like All Inclusive clients. The food was bad quality, in the main restaurant it was a hot buffet - well luke warm with a small salad bar, very basic salads, cold meat was cheap processed ham and cheese slices. The sweet trolley was the worst, it was 4 different flavored angel delight type mixture with tinned fruit on top. Fresh fruit was a bit sad, only 1 beer on tap red and white wine again on tap not very nice seemed very weak and watery.
In the bar, it was the same beer served up in plastic cups. All Inclusive guests were not allowed glasses. The coffee was from a machine as you would get in a hospital waiting room, nasty. All Inclusive guests were not allowed coffee from proper machine behind the bar, we were treated like homeless in a sally army hostel.
We should be grateful for what we got type attitude if we asked for a glass for our beer we were growled at and told "No, All Inclusive, plastic, no glass" if we asked for coffee from Espresso machine we were told "No, All Inclusive, use machine" it was terrible £1200 to be treated like a Borstal Boy, Thomas Cook rep not interested in our problems, didn't help us at all, what's new?
The Island itself was very expensive shops, too many English pubs it's a bit like Blackpool with volcanoes. I would think it was a very pretty place before it became the Spanish Blackpool.
