Nondas Apartments, Lassi

We have just got back from Nondas Apartments in Lassi and we had a fantastic time. Lassi is a nice resort if you do not want anything too lively, and has the best beach i have ever been too. The island of Kefalonia is one of the prettiest around with some fantastic views. Although the main strip in Lassi is flat there are quite allot of hills around which may make things difficult for disabled or elderly people. To gain access to the Nondas Apartments you do have to go up a small but steep hill.

The restaurants in the area are plentiful and there is a good choice. But we would recommend the Stalis restaurant where the food is fantastic and the waiters very helpful. We would also recommend the bar with the big screen in the outside area (the only screen of its size around) So you will know which one it is.

The Nondas Apartments themselves where nice. They are basic with basic kitchen and a very basic bathroom, but have enough facilities to cook breakfast and a small lunch (pasta etc) The kitchens come equipped with toaster, kettle, toasted sandwich maker and 2 small hob rings to cook on. The bedrooms are a good size and with the beds pushed together to make a double room are comfortable. The apartments are clean, and the owners helpful. There is not a pool but there is use of the pool next door at the princess hotel which is lovely. I would recommend though that people take their own towels as the towels are old and quite starchy although clean.

I would recommend this resort to anyone, although if you do not like basic living I would not strongly recommend these apartment, they are lovely and spacey and clean, but are quite old fashioned and basic which was fine for us. I would give this holiday overall an 8.5 out of 10. and you must go to the beach opposite the apartments. It is FAB!!.
