The Mouikis Hotel offers good accommodation in a central location. This is the second time that we have had a holiday at this hotel. All the staff who were working 3 years ago are still at this hotel, so that gives you a good feeling about the place if they can retain the staff. Even the Thomson rep (Amanda) was the same, which is a surprise for a Thomson rep to stay at the same location for more than 1 season.
The breakfasts are a simple affair, but ample.
The room that we stayed in (Room 108) was comfortable, but the balcony was tiny. The room had full air-conditioning and believe me we needed it! The room also contained a kettle and a colour television, however no dedicated English language channel was available. You could find plenty of English language films on the Greek version of Filmnet that was available in the room at no extra charge.
The bathroom while being clean could do with a few euros spending on it! There was only a sink, toilet and shower with the water going from hot to cold and then back to hot again during the shower.
I would recommend this hotel and we will visit it again, on our next trip to this island.
