Puerto Caleta Apartments, Costa Caleta
Puerto Caleta are only 200 yards from the beach and they comprise of 91 apartments. The apartment building is two stories high, with a design typical of villas.
Their unusual arrangement and Mediterranean style give them picturesque and peaceful nooks and crannies which provide a comfortable place to relax. Each apartment has a bedroom with twin beds, living room-kitchen, bathroom and terrace or balcony.
Televisions are available to hire at the complex.

This holiday was booked the day before we travelled, one of the best holidays ever!!
Transfer from the airport was only 20mins, the apartment was fully equipped and very clean, maid service every day, the pool area was clean and the water in the pool was tested every 2 or 3 hrs. The reception closed early around 5pm. The bar was fab lots going on and a really friendly atmosphere.
The beach was close by and all the shops too. The place was kept really clean, no hills to climb! I would say this is a perfect family holiday, not a great deal of nightlife with discos and nightclubs, but enough going on to keep you entertained. What a beautiful place to relax and soak up the sun and enjoy a fab steak. I have just booked to go again, this time not through a travel company.

When we arrived it was 10pm and reception was closed - we were just given a key to a room. We were with our 3 year old son and our 10 month old son. The room was no way big enough for us we all had to sleep in the same room that night.
At 9am we went to reception and asked if we could have a different room they were very helpful and we changed to a 1st floor room which was much bigger and we had our own balcony. Most of the rooms on the ground floor share terraces with 2 other families for us this was not acceptable - our children went to bed at 7pm and we just wanted somewhere nice to sit and have a drink.
I recommend you ask for a 1st floor with your own balcony.
The rooms were cleaned well and towels changed every day - the pool area was lovely. It is really close to the beach if you know where to go - go out main entrance and there is a walkway down to the beach next to the Barcelo Hotel.
The Mexican wasn't very good nor was the slowboat Chinese - better off going across the road from the Mexican to a flame grill place - really nice.
Sea was perfect for my 3 year old as it was only knee deep and loads of fish which kept him amused with a fishing net. All in all a wonderful place and well located - I would recommend!
