Vangelis Hotel Apartments, Protaras
Vangelis Hotel Apartments are located in the centre of Protaras, surrounded by the usual assortment of restaurants, cafes, bars and shops. Only 100 yards from Fig Tree Bay.
Facilities on offer, include reception, lounge, games area, kid's playground, outdoor swimming pool, indoor heated swimming pool, tennis court, steam bath, sauna, massage and gym.
One bedroom apartments are equipped with a twin bed, air-conditioning, phone, safe, lounge with kitchen, fridge, TV with radio channels, oven, kettle, toaster, bathroom with toilet and a balcony or veranda.

Hotel infested with ants when complained to reception was given ant powder and told to deal with it.
Reception staff continually rude on a number of occasions. Food was badly cooked and the selection was poor. All of our party had diarrhoea and sickness at one point or another, when we requested more toilet paper we where told we had to wait until tomorrow. Paid for all inclusive however ate out most evenings.
Pool lights where broken and dangerous hanging by the side of the pool with cables exposed. Hotel rep was rude and unhelpful. The pool view we requested was only available if we paid CYP 5.00 per day per couple, so we had the view of a busy road and night clubs and bars. NOT conducive to a good nights sleep.
Couldn't lay by the pool and read or sleep as a huge speaker blared out continually the same 4 CD's the hotel had for the full 2 weeks. I would NEVER recommend this hotel to anyone. This is our 6th time to Cyprus and 3rd to Protaras THIS IS THE WORST PLACE WE HAVE STAYED IN. Visit Cyprus its gorgeous, just don't stay at the Vangelis!!
