Anthea Hotel Apartments, Ayia Napa
The Anthea Hotel Apartments are located in the centre of the very lively resort of Ayia Napa. The apartments are only 5 minutes from the nearest beach. The apartment complex offers a fantastic pool area which has 3 swimming pools, each with a pool bar.
Choose from either a studio or apartment, both come with private bathroom with bath or shower. Other features include a kitchen, safe, heating, air conditioning and either a terrace or balcony.
The living area in the studios is combined with the sleeping area & the apartments feature a separate bedroom.

After reading other reviews I was about going to the Anthea Hotel Apartments, but after just returning from a weeks holiday, I have no complaints.
The rooms were clean, bedding was changed so can't complain about that. A couple of the staff at the reception could be a little rude, that's about my only moan.
The air conditioning is expensive but it was so hot you needed it.

We were guaranteed not to be sent to Ayia Napa by the Thomson's booking agent as we were flying into Paphos and not Larnaca, imagine our shock when just two of us were sent in a taxi 110 miles to the filth infested Anthea Apartments where we arrived at midnight, tired, thirsty and hungry to be met with blaring music 'Hey Baby'.There was no warning of a deep step down into the room resulting in me falling headlong with my suitcases, the room was filthy ant and cockroach infested, vomit down the bathroom door, broken and very shoddy furniture, the catering facilities were totally inadequate the list goes on.
Thomson's refused to sort out our resort mix up therefore we will take the 'WHICH' magazine advice and pursue the matter through small claims court.
Be warned this place could seriously damage your health!
FOLLOW UP SUBMITTED 01/01/07
As a follow on to my last report 'Late Deals' which is a subsidiary of Thomson's have compensated us to the sum of 462 pounds sterling for accepting liability for extra expenses incurred when transferring ourselves to Paphos and finding alternative accommodation.
We are now going to proceed through Small Claims court for the ruined holiday as well as pursuing an injury compensation claim following an accident I suffered when falling down a dangerous unmarked step inside the apartment. This matter could, and should, have been remedied on arrival at Paphos airport; unfortunately Thomson's staff displayed extreme arrogance and rudeness.
