The Barcelo Sol Y Mar was the first Barcelo hotel to open in Cuba.
Facilities at this hotel include 2 adult swimming pools and one for children, a children's playground, gymnasium, sauna and massage services, Jacuzzi, beauty salon, day care centre.
Dining services are available at 2 buffet restaurants, 3 A la carte restaurants (Creole and International cuisine, and another specializing in seafood), 3 bars, 2 snack bars.

As we arrived with my nana and grandad to the Barcelo Sol Y Mar, it was a very hot day. We felt very welcome.
The food isn't all that good and the rooms are ok. The bar services is very good and the entertainment is ok as well, depending on what show but make sure you go to see the sketch show on the Wednesday at 1530 in the afternoon, u will enjoy it if you have kids, it is round the second pool.
Havana is very old but it is ok, make sure if your taking a picture they don't see you because they may ask you for 1 peso. I hope to visit again soon.
