Sokrates II Apartments & Studios
The apartments are particularly handy for the beach which is only a 250 yards walk. The Malia beach road is a 700 yards walk, and you'll find the bars and restaurants of Stalis only half a mile away. The nearest supermarket is only 150 yards.
2, 3 or 4 beds apartments. All apartments and studios have dining, kitchen, Television, radio, shower, toilet and balcony.
Air-conditioning and safety deposit boxes are available for an additional charge.

We booked a late deal not knowing where we would stay, however Thomson's really excelled. The Sokrates is an excellent place to stay.
Rooms were cleaned every day by very polite staff without intrusion. Staff where really helpful and friendly.
We spent most days by the excellent pool as we intended to relax, however it is only a short walk to the beach. Sitting by the pool was really relaxing and so quiet, I think having such a large pool area means it would never be too busy.
The Sokrates is well situated to all local amenities, and we ate at some excellent restaurants both in Stalis and Malia, lovely restaurants can also be found in old Malia.
We will definitely return, in fact we are starting to plan our next stay.
