Our stay this August at the Dora Studios was pleasant, and the resort is ideal for a family break or for a couple who enjoy dining out and laying on the beach. The downside to this was the studio's swimming pool opened early but no facilities e.g. bar food (and you are not allowed to bring your own due to Greek tax laws) until 10am and all of it was closed by 6pm. If you needed help during the closed hours you had to walk to the Panorama restaurant to speak to someone, which put a slight mar on the overall customer service, which is usually excellent in the Greek islands.
I personally would go back to the resort but not at the Dora studios as I found the maids fantastic but owners and other staff to be a bit standoffish not the usual friendly atmosphere we are used to.
Within the resort you must you try out dining at Makis(steak house), the Village and seagulls to name but a few. The beach is sandy and the sea shore is very shallow ideal for children and snorkelling but not if you like to have a good swim in the sea, there are some water sports available.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at Dora very much.
The place was clean, well run, and very friendly. The resort of St.George is a great place to visit. We were so impressed that we have booked to go back again in August this year.

I would like to say that the holiday we enjoyed was overall brilliant, especially as I had an accident and was treated with understanding and help.
