We have just come back from our 4th visit to the hotel Sa Marina in Cala d'Or, we found it even better this year than the previous even though we did not think it could get any better, the reason being they have opened a new block which we chose to stay it was fantastic so clean over looking the new pool so their are 2 pools now which gives you more choice the new pool plays music most of the day and their are lots of games put on by the animation team, if you want less noise you can lay by the other poool where their is no music playing.
The food as ever is out of this world as it is buffet style you can choose whatever you want and go up as many times as you like. The island itself is beautiful with many little coves for sun bathing you are spoiled for choice.

The Hotel Sa Marina is a real treat. When we arrived we were greeted by a spacious reception and a very efficient check in service and were soon dispatched to our room. The room has a real wow factor and can only be described as immaculate in every detail.
The room / apartment was spacious with twin sinks in the bathroom and a telephone at the toilet, which was a little extravagant for us! The apartment has a separate bedroom which is handy if one of you want to get an extra hour in bed during the afternoon. We were in the main complex on the top floor overlooking the pool which was ideal.
Because we went during October the indoor pool was open for the guests to use, however the weather was good enough for us to only use the outdoor facilities. We made some use of the gym facilities and this has encouraged us to buy our own exercise bicycle when we returned home!
The food on offer is splendid with something for everyone, it was a buffet service with freshly prepared salads, local dishes and a carvery all available for you to try. The price of the wine was also reasonable with a average bottle of Rioja costing around 11 euros.
In the evening the entertainment was of a mixed quality with the usual parrot shows, flamenco, quizzes and discos all on offer. Some of the entertainment in the evening was provided by the Animation team who appeared to all be from Holland!
The Sa Marina is only a few minutes walk from the hustle and bustle of Cala D'or but is ideally placed for a quite holiday. The complex consists of the main building and the annexe which is only 1 minutes walk away.
We would go back to the Sa Marina without any hesitation, and would also go with Thomas Cook, as they offered a first class service, and a special mention to the Thomas Cook rep, Ben who was wonderful and offered a first class service to all questions fielded to him. The Sa Marina is officially 4 stars and is a part of the Inturotels Hotels group.

As this is my third year holidaying at the Sa Marina, I think this says everything. It is a first class hotel it is immaculate in every way you could not ask for, better food and to watch the chefs cooking is a treet.
This year they opened a second pool, it is fantastic the harbour is only a five minute walk away and should not be missed the entertainment is great and the animation team are really dedicated in keeping everyone entertained including the children.
Hopefully I am going back again next year.
