Never again..... Thomson reps are a complete waste of space they say we will get back to you and never do! This is a 5 star hotel, the surrounds and bedrooms are fantastic and so is the food, however, the service is shocking they are only interested in people who book with the hotel. We have mixed feeling about the Kissos Hotel in Paphos. It is in a great location off the Tomb of the Kngs Road. The rooms are very basic but adequate. The food is pretty dire and the staff with the exception of those on the reception desk is offhand. An excellent swimming pool and it is only a 3 star hotel. On booking the agent demanded full payment for the apartment when the invoice requested payment some 8 weeks later (alarm bells should have rung!!) The George Hotel in the resort of Golden Beach on the Greek Island of Thassos is a basic 2 star hotel. The rooms are tiny not room to swing a cat but surprisingly the bathroom was quite large by comparison. The breakfast was pretty naff. The owners were friendly and the bar was a nice place to congregate in the evening. No swimming pool. Best for couples during our stay it was classified as an adult only hotel.
