The George Hotel in the resort of Golden Beach on the Greek Island of Thassos is a basic 2 star hotel. The rooms are tiny not room to swing a cat but surprisingly the bathroom was quite large by comparison. The breakfast was pretty naff. This was my first time abroad, I would never stay there again, we had bedding changed twice in two weeks, no pillowcases for 4 days, floors were never cleaned, bins empty twice, electric want of and had to wait all day for someone to look at it. Hotel fab, food fab, staff very helpful indeed especially Camilla in restaurant. People complain about sunbeds but if you're not bothered about poolside try to go on decking on second floor or in gardens most people only stop round pool for half a day anyway if no beds have a walk to marina and onto Cala d’Or centre.
